Размышление над стихом дня
Мы созданы по образу Божьему. Не только мужчины. Не только женщины. Оба мужчина и женщина сотворены по образу Божьему! Невероятно, и это было правдой не только до грехопадения. Когда Бог образовал нас в чреве нашей матери (Псалом 138:13-16), Он сотворил нас в Свой образ (Бытие 9:6). Из-за того, что люди ценны в глазах Бога, потому что мы отражаем часть характера Творца, каждого человека нужно ценить. Никто не должен быть опорочен, унижен или проклинаем (Иакова 3:9-12). Люди ценны не только для Бога, но также для нас, потому что каким-то особенным образом они отражают Его образ.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
We were made in God's image. Not just the man, the male. Not just the woman, the female. Both males and females are made in God's image! They are each precious to God. Incredibly, this is not just true before the Fall before sin entered the world and made a mess of everything. When God made us and knew us in the womb of our birth mother (Psalm 139:13-16), he made us in his image (Genesis 9:6). Because people are precious to God because we each reflect something of the character of our Creator, each person is to be valued. None is to be denigrated, belittled, or cursed (James 3:9-12). People are precious, not only to God but also to us because, in some special way, each of us reflects the multifaceted nature and image of God.

Всемогущий Творец, прошу Тебя, помоги мне ценить каждого человека которого я встречу сегодня, потому что осознаю, что Ты сотворил каждого индивидуально отражать Твой характер и природу. В то же самое время, благослови меня духовно возрастать, ибо я сознательно подчиняюсь Твоему Духу, который преображает меня в Твой образ каждый день. Во имя Иисуса Христа молюсь. Аминь.
My Prayer...
Almighty Creator, please help me value each person I meet today and each day going forward. I want to value them because I am consciously aware that you have individually and uniquely made each of them to reflect your character and nature. At the same time, bless me with spiritual growth as I consciously submit myself to your Spirit as you transform me to be more like you each day (2 Corinthians 3:18). In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
