Размышление над стихом дня
Как Иисус умер для греха, так и мы умерли для греха. Но, если просто отложить грех, это не сможет нас сохранить от греха. Мы должны принять новую жизнь во Христе и жить ею каждый день с сердцами открытыми к чудесной воле Божьей для нас. Давайте оставим мертвое в могиле и в прошлом. Давайте жить всем сердцем для Бога взирая на Иисуса и будущее, которое Он приготовил для нас.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Just as Jesus died to sin, we also died to sin through our faith as we were baptized. Paul said it this way in the verse before our verse of the day: The death [Jesus] died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God (Romans 6:10). Simply putting aside sin at our baptism isn't going to keep sin away from us. We must embrace Jesus' new resurrected life every day. We should begin each day committed to living for God with our hearts open to the Lord's exciting will for us. Let's keep what is dead and buried from our past in the past. Let's live passionately for God, focused on Jesus and his future for us.

Владыка Господь и любящий Отец, я хочу, чтобы моя прошлая жизнь во грехе оставалась похороненной и мертвой. Прошу Тебя, наполни мою жизнь Твоим Духом и сделай меня всегда открытым к Твоему водительству. Прошу Тебя, дай мне быть всегда в Твоем присутствии и всегда видеть Твою волю для меня. Прошу это во имя Иисуса Христа. Аминь.
My Prayer...
Sovereign Lord and Loving Father, I want my past life of sin to remain buried and dead in the past. Please empower me to have a vibrant life full of your Spirit and always open to your leading in this new life. Please make your presence and will plain to me as I commit myself to living your will. In Jesus' name, I ask this. Amen.
