இந்தநாளுக்குரிய வேதவார்த்தையின் கருப்பொருள்
உண்மையான பிரச்சினை "என்றால்" இல்லை , ஆனால் "எப்போது" நாம் நயங்காட்டபட்டோம் , மற்றும் சோதனையை எதிர்கொண்டோம் ! நம்முடைய பிள்ளைகள் நண்பர்களின்மூலமாய் மிகப்பெரிய அழுத்தம் மற்றும் சோதனைகளை எதிர்கொள்கிறார்கள். நாமும் அவ்வண்ணமே எதிர் கொள்கிறோம்! இந்த கவர்ச்சியின் அழுத்தத்தை எதிர்க்கொள்ள நாம் அவர்களுக்கு உதவ வேண்டும். மேலும், அவற்றை எதிர்க்கொள்வதில் நாமும் ஒருபோதும் சோர்வடையக்கூடாது. ஒரு பெற்றோர் தனது குழந்தையை ஆயத்தம் மற்றும் சோதனைகளுக்கு தயார்படுத்துவதற்கு ஒரு மிக சிறந்த உதாரணம், தேவன் தம்முடைய குமாரனாகிய இயேசுவை, ஞானஸ்நானத்தின் போது உறுதியான வார்த்தைகளால் அவர் வானத்தைத் திறந்து, "நீர் என்னுடைய நேசக் குமாரன், உம்மில் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறேன் ; (லூக்கா 3:21). இந்த வார்த்தைகள் போதவில்லை என்று சொல்லி , தேவன் வானத்தைத் திறந்து, பரிசுத்த ஆவியை புறாவைப் போல அனுப்பினார்! இந்த உறுதியான வார்த்தைகள் எவ்வளவு முக்கியமானவை? அடுத்து என்ன நடந்தது என்பதைப் பார்க்கும்போது, இயேசுவானவர் நாற்பது நாட்கள் வனாந்தரத்திலே சோதிக்கப்பட்டார் , அவை இன்றியமையாதவை என்பதை நாம் உணர்கிறோம்! இயேசுவிடம் சாத்தான் கூறின முதல் வார்த்தை என்னவென்றால் , "நீர் தேவனுடைய குமாரனேயானால் ..." தேவனானவர் ஏற்கனவே அவருடைய குமாரனின் சோதனைக்கு முன்பாக பெலமுள்ள மற்றும் ஊக்கமளிக்கும் வார்த்தைகளை கொண்டு ஆசீர்வதித்திருந்தார். நாம் நேசிப்பவர்களுக்கு அவர்களின் சோதனைகள் மற்றும் போராட்டங்களை எதிர்ப்பதற்கு, நம் பெலமுள்ள மற்றும் அன்பின் வார்த்தைகள் எவ்வளவு அதிகமாக தேவை?!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
The real issue isn't "if" but "when" we're enticed and tempted! Our children face tremendous peer pressure and temptations. We do, too! We must help them resist the enticements of this pressure. Also, we must never tire of resisting them ourselves. One example of a parent preparing his child for trials and temptations is found when God affirmed his Son, Jesus, with affirming words at his baptism when he opened the heavens and said: "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased" (Luke 3:21). And if the words weren't enough, God opened the heavens and sent down Holy Spirit in the form of a dove! How vital were these words of affirmation? When we see what happened next, Jesus' forty days of temptation in the wilderness, we realize they were essential! Satan's first words to Jesus were, "If you are the Son of God..." God had already blessed his Son with words of affirmation and encouragement before his trials. How much more do those we love need our words of affirmation and love to resist their trials and temptations?!

தேவனே , நான் சோதனைகளையும் ஏமாற்றங்களையும் எதிர்கொள்கிறேன். தயவுக்கூர்ந்து என் இருதயத்தையும், என் வாழ்க்கையையும், என் மாதிரியையும் பாதுகாத்துக்கொள்ளும் . பண்பும், உண்மையும் உத்தமும் உள்ளவனாக இருக்க எனக்கு உதவிச்செய்யும் . கூடுதலாக, தயவுக்கூர்ந்து என் பிள்ளைகளை வழிநடத்தவும், பாதுகாக்கவும், பராமரிக்கவும் , எச்சரிக்கவும் எனக்கு உதவுங்கள் - மாம்சத்திலும், விசுவாசத்திலும் என் குடும்பத்தில் உள்ளவர்கள் சோதனையிலும், கண்ணியிலும் சிக்கி விழாதபடி வழி நடத்த ஞானத்தை தாரும் . இயேசுவின் நல்ல நாமத்தினாலே ஜெபிக்கிறேன். ஆமென்.
My Prayer...
O God, I do face temptations and enticements. Please guard my heart, my life, and my example. Please help me be a person of character and integrity. In addition, please enable me to lead, protect, guard, and warn my loved ones — those in my physical and spiritual families — and help them avoid stumbling and falling in trials and temptations. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
