இந்தநாளுக்குரிய வேதவார்த்தையின் கருப்பொருள்
உண்மையல்லவா! நாம் வாழ்கிற சமூகத்திலே எல்லாவித அழுக்குகளின் பிடியில் நாம் சிக்கிக் கொள்ளும்போது, தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை சலிப்பாகவும் பொருத்தமற்றதாகவும் இருப்பதைக் காண்கிறோம். ஆயினும்கூட, சாத்தான் பாவத்தைப் பயன்படுத்தி நம் இருதயங்களைக் கடினப்படுத்தும்போது கூட, தேவ ஆவியானவர் வேதத்தின் வார்த்தைகளை மேலோட்டமாக புரிந்துகொள்வதை விட மிகவும் ஆழமான சத்தியத்தை புரிந்துகொள்ளும்படி மாறுவதற்கு நம்மை அழைக்கிறார். ஒரு அறுவை சிகிச்சை நிபுணரின் கைகளில் உள்ள கூர்மையான கத்தியை போல அவருடைய வார்த்தையைப் பயன்படுத்தி, நம் இருதயங்களில் தேவையான அறுவை சிகிச்சையைச் செய்யக்கூடிய அவருடைய ஆவிக்காக தேவனுக்கு நன்றி.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Isn't it true! When we find ourselves caught in the clutches of the moral filth of our culture, we find the Word of God boring and irrelevant. Yet even in those moments when Satan uses sin to harden our hearts, God's Spirit calls us to change at a level deeper than just the mere understanding of the words of Scripture. Thank God for his Spirit which can use his Word like a surgeon's scalpel and do the needed surgery on our hearts.

பரிசுத்த தேவனே, உமது பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் உதவியால், இன்று நான் என் வாழ்க்கையில் உள்ள ஒழுக்கக்கேடான பழக்கங்களை மனப்பூர்வமாகவும் தீர்க்கமாகவும் கைவிடுகிறேன். இவை உமது பரிசுத்தத்தையும், கிருபையையும் புண்படுத்துவது மட்டுமல்லாமல், உமது சித்தத்திற்கு என் இருதயத்தை கடினப்படுத்துகிறது, உம் குணாதிசயத்திலிருந்து என்னை விலக்கி, மற்றவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக என் சாட்சியை கெடுக்கிறது என்பதை நான் அறிவேன். தயவு செய்து என்னை மன்னித்து, உமக்கு முற்றிலும் மகிழ்ச்சியளிக்கும் வாழ்க்கையை நான் வாழ முற்படும்போது என்னைத் தாங்குவீராக . இயேசுவின் நாமத்தினாலே நான் ஜெபிக்கிறேன். ஆமென்.
My Prayer...
Holy God, with the help of your Holy Spirit, today I willingly and decisively give up the immoral habits in my life. I recognize that these not only offend your holiness and grace, but also harden me to your will, pull me away from your character, and blunt my witness to others. Please forgive me and sustain me as I seek to live a life wholly pleasing to you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
