చివరిదా ? చివరిగా ఉండటానికి ఎవరూ ఇష్టపడరు. మనము రెండవ స్థానంలో స్థిరపడటానికి చాలా కష్టపడుతున్నాము, చివరి స్థానంలో చాలా తక్కువ. యేసులో ఒకరి స్థానము వ్యతిరేకదిశలోవుంటుంది . అతనికి అత్యంత ముఖ్యమైన వ్యక్తి గా ఉండగోరినవారు హోదా మరియు గుర్తింపును కోరుకునే వ్యక్తి అయ్యివుండకూడదు . అత్యంత ముఖ్యమైన వ్యక్తి యేసు వంటివాడై స్థాయి మరియు హోదా మరియు సేవ చేయడానికి ప్రాముఖ్యతను వదులుకోవడానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నవాడైవుండవలెను . యేసువిషయములో , చివరి అంటే సేవలో మొదటివాడు మరియు దేవుని దృష్టిలో మొదటివాడు .
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Last? Nobody likes to be last. When it comes to lines, we hate to be last! Many of us have a hard time settling for second place, much less last place. Jesus, however, reverses the way the world ranks things (Luke 22:25-27). The person who is most important to him is not the person seeking the status, notoriety, and the place of honor. The most important person is like Jesus himself: willing to give up rank, status, and place importance to serve the least, last, and lost. For Jesus, last means first in service and first in the eyes of God.

My Prayer...
Magnificent God, my Savior, you have made the world wonderful for me and have given your Son to redeem me. How can I ever thank you or repay you for your grace and kindness? Help me serve others with grace and kindness. Give me eyes to see people as you do; not judging by mere appearances, but valuing and treating people as Jesus does. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus, the one who washed his disciples' feet to show them his love and the proper place of importance. Amen.
