ข้อคิดเกี่ยวกับข้อพระคัมภีร์วันนี้
พอพูดถึงเรื่องการออกไปประกาศข่าวดี เราก็มักจะชอบแก้ตัวว่าทำไม่ได้ แต่ตลอดชีวิตของเปาโล เขาทำให้เห็นว่าข้อแก้ตัวของเราฟังไม่ขึ้น เขาตั้งใจแน่วแน่ว่าจะทำงานที่พระเจ้ามอบหมายให้กับเขาจนสำเร็จและไม่ยอมให้มีอะไรมาขัดขวางได้ (กจ. 20:24) ลูกาจบหนังสือกิจการโดยบอกว่าเปาโลถูกกักบริเวณในบ้าน และซ้ำร้ายยังต้องสนับสนุนตัวเองอีกด้วย แต่เขาก็มองข้ามความยากลำบากและอุปสรรคนี้ไป เขายังทำให้ข่าวดีแผ่ไปถึงคนที่หลงหายได้และอุทิศชีวิตให้กับพระเยซูจนตัวตาย
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
So often, we give excuses why we can't do evangelism. Throughout his life, Paul showed us how lame our excuses are! He was passionately determined to fulfill God's mission for him and wouldn't let anything deter him (Acts 20:24). Luke closes the book of Acts with Paul under house arrest, needing to support himself and depend upon friends. Despite these difficulties, Paul still managed to get the Gospel proclaimed to the lost, mentor others who would follow in his steps, and live passionately for Jesus!

พระเจ้าที่รักและยิ่งใหญ่ ยกโทษให้กับข้าพเจ้าด้วยที่ชอบแก้ตัวและขี้ขลาด ช่วยให้ข้าพเจ้ากล้าที่จะเอาข่าวดีแห่งความรอดของพระองค์ไปแบ่งปันกับคนอื่น และขอให้ข้าพเจ้าทำให้ทุกคนที่รู้จักได้รู้เรื่องของพระเยซูมากขึ้นด้วยเถิด อธิษฐานในนามอันล้ำค่าของพระเยซู อาเมน
My Prayer...
Loving and Almighty God, forgive my excuses and my fear. Please make me bold to share your saving truth in the Gospel. May all who know me also learn more about Jesus through me! In his precious name, I pray. Amen.
