ข้อคิดเกี่ยวกับข้อพระคัมภีร์วันนี้
ในการเลือกตั้งผู้นำใหม่ในเมือง เขต หรือประเทศใดๆ ก็ตาม หรือการเลือกผู้ปกครอง นักเทสน์ หรือผู้รับใช้ในคริสตจักร จะมีคำอธิษฐานไหนที่ยิ่งใหญ่ไปกว่าการขอนี้ คือขอให้ พระยาห์เวห์ ผู้เป็นเจ้าชีวิตของมนุษย์ทุกคน ช่วยแต่งตั้งผู้นำที่จะมานำหน้าเรา เอาใจใส่เรา และนำเราด้วยความสัตย์ซื่อ และทำให้แนวทางชีวิตของเราเต็มไปด้วยสันติสุขและคุณงามความดี เพื่อเราจะได้ไม่เป็นเหมือนฝูงแกะที่ไม่มีผู้เลี้ยง ข้าแต่พระเจ้า โปรดให้ผู้นำอย่างนี้กับเราด้วยเถิด อาเมน
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Wow! For any city, county, or country electing new leadership or for a church selecting elders, pastors, or ministers, what greater prayer could there be than to ask: Lord of all humanity, please appoint leaders who will go before us, care for us, and lead us with integrity modeling your ways of peace and virtue so that we will not be like sheep without a shepherd. O, God, please give us such leaders. Amen!

ข้าแต่พระบิดา โปรดยกโทษให้กับพวกเราด้วย ที่เลือกผู้นำด้วยเหตุผลที่ผิดๆ และมองแต่ความสำเร็จแทนที่จะมองที่นิสัย ขอโปรดให้มีผู้นำที่มีความซื่อสัตย์สุจริตและเป็นห่วงเป็นใยผู้อื่น ในทุกระดับของสังคมคริสเตียนและในคริสตจักรด้วยเถิด อธิษฐานในนามของพระเยซู พระผู้ช่วยให้รอด อาเมน
My Prayer...
O Father, please forgive us for choosing leaders for the wrong reasons and for selecting those to lead us who have bad character but are successful in other places. Please raise up leaders at every level of our Christian communities and churches with integrity of character and a deep concern for people. We pray this together, in the name of the Savior, Jesus. Amen.
