ہم الگ ہیں! خُدا نے ہمیں نر اور مادہ بنایا ہے تاکہ ایک دُوسرے کےلیے باعثِ تعریف بن سکیں۔ ہر ایک خُدا کی صورت پر بنایا گیا ہے۔ خُدا کا ارادہ یہ تھا کہ میاں اور بیوی ایک دُوسرے کے ساتھ اپنے بنیادی رشتہ حاصل کریں۔ وہ ابھی بھی اپنے والدین کی عزت کرتے ہیں، لیکن اُن کے گھر ایک دُوسرے کے ساتھ ہیں۔ اُن کی دو زندگیاں ایک ہو گئیں ہیں۔ اِس تاحیات حفاظت کے سباق میں،وہ ایک دُوسرے کے ساتھ جنسی مباشرت کے علم کو بانٹتے ہیں—"ایک جسم" ہو کر۔ اِس تعلق سے زندگی بھر(متی 19 باب 6 آیت) لطف انداوز ہُوا جاسکتا،(امثال 5 باب)، حفاظت محسوس کی جاسکتی(پہلا تھسلنیکیوں 4 باب 3 تا 8 آیت)، اور جشن منایا جاسکتا ہے (غزل الغزلات)۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
We are different! God makes us male and female so we can be complements of each other. Each of us, male or female, is made in God's image. God intends that a husband and wife find their primary intimate human relationship with the other. They still honor their parents, but their home is with each other. Their two lives become one. They know each other intimately and share that intimacy across many facets of their lives. In this context of lifetime security and commitment, they share in the intimate knowledge of each other sexually — becoming "one flesh" and fully knowing each other deeply. This relationship is to be enjoyed (Proverbs 5), protected (1 Thessalonians 4:3-8), and celebrated (Song of Solomon) for life (Matthew 19:6).

پاک اور قادرِ مطلق باپ، براہِ کرم مجھے قوت عطا فرما کہ میں جنسی طور پر تیز دُنیا میں عزت اور پاکیزگی کے ساتھ زندگی بسر کروں۔ براہِ کرم اپنے رُوح اور کلام کو ہدایت، درستی، استعمال کر اور مجھے گواہ بناکہ میں اپنے تعلق کے لیے تیری سچائی کی تلاش کروں اور اپنی مباشرت کےلیے تیری مرضی کو استعمال کروں۔ یسُوع کے نام میں مانگتا ہوں۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
Holy and Almighty Father, please bless me with the strength to live with integrity, faithfulness, and purity in today's sexually charged world. Please use your Spirit and your Word to instruct, correct, and convict me as I seek to discover your truth for my relationships and celebrate your will for my sexuality only with the person you have called me to honor with my life in marriage. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
