یہاں پولوس کی نصیحت بہترین ہے، نصیحت کا یہ طریقہ ہے جس پر ہمیں غور کرنا چاہیے۔ ہم اُس زمانے میں رہ رہے ہیں جہاں ہم پر لگاتار دباؤ ڈالا جاتا ہے کہ افسانہ، نئی چیزوں اور چیزوں کے نئے ہونے پر زور دیا جاتاہے۔ لیکن ہماری مسیحی زندگی میں، ہمارا علم ہماری فرمانبرداری پر حاوی ہو جاتاہے۔ اکثر سے زیادہ جب ہم سوچنا پسند کرتے ہیں، ہمیں ایک دوسرے کو یاد دلانا ہے کہ ہم کیا درست کر رہے ہیں اور ہمیں صرف یہ کہنا چاہیے، ‘‘اوئے، تم ٹھیک کر رہے ہو؛ صرف وہی کرتے رہو جو کر رہے ہو۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
While Paul's exhortation here is excellent, it is the style of the exhortation we should especially notice. We live in an age where we are constantly pressured to emphasize the novel, new, or improved versions of things. But in our lives as Christians, our knowledge always exceeds our obedience. So more often than we like to think, we need to remind each other of what we are doing right and just simply say, "Hey, you're doing well; just keep doing what you're doing!"
میری دعا
وفادار باپ، غور کرنے اور جو چیزیں میں کر چکا ہوں اور جس سے تُو خُوش ہے اُس کا ریکارڈ رکھنے کے لیے تیرا شکر ہو۔ میری مدد کر کہ میں وہ چیزیں کرتا رہوں جو تجھے خُوش کریں، صرف بہتر، کہ ہو سکتا ہے کہ تُو خُوش ہو اور تیری عظمت ہو۔ یسوع کے نام میں۔ آمین۔

Faithful Father, thank you for noticing and keeping record of the things I've done that are good and pleasing to you. Please help me to keep doing those things that please you, only better, that you may be pleased and glorified. In Jesus name. Amen.
