آج کی آیت پر خیالات
نوح کو راستباز آدمی کے طور پر پیش کیا گیا ہے، اپنی نسل میں بے الزام، جو خُدا میں چلتا تھا اور وہ سب کرتا تھا جسکا خُدا اُس کو حُکم دیتا تھا (پیدائش 6 باب 9 اور 22 آیت)۔ کیا آپ اِس سے زیادہ اعزاز کا سوچ سکتے ہیں؟ مجھے یقین نہیں ہے کہ جب میں یسوع کے ساتھ رہنے کےلیے اِس دنیا سے چلا جاؤں گا تو وہ میری قبر کی تختی پر کیا لکھیں گے، لیکن میں یقین کے ساتھ اُس کا حقدار بننا پسند کروں گا جو اِس آیت میں نوح کے بارے میں کہا گیا ہے! آپ کا کیا خیال ہے؟
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
The Bible describes Noah as a righteous man, blameless in his generation, who walked with God and did all that the Lord commanded him (Genesis 6:9, 22). Can you think of a higher honor? I'm unsure what they will write on my headstone when I pass from this life to be with Jesus, but I would love to be worthy of what the Bible said about Noah! How about you? Wouldn't it be great to have written of us, "May all who pass by this grave know that the person's body buried here did everything just as commanded"? By grace, I believe Jesus will say this of us before the Father because of our faith in him (Colossians 1:22).

پاک خُدا، میں پوری طرح سے سمجھتا ہوں کہ میں تیری فضل سے بچایا گیا ہوں نہ کہ کسی عظیم یا راستباز کام کی وجہ سے جو میں نے کیا ہے۔ ٹھیک اُسی وقت، اے باپ، میں اپنے زندگی میں تجھے جلال بخشنا چاہتاہوں اور اَوروں کو یہ دکھانا چاہتا ہوں کہ تیرے فرزندوں کی زندگی میں تیری مہربان محبت کیا تبدیلی لاتی ہے۔ براہِ کرم مجھے برکت دے، پیارے باپ، میں نوح کی تعریف کا اور زیادہ حقدار بنوں۔ یسُوع کے نام میں مانگتا ہوں ۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
Holy God, we fully acknowledge that we are saved by your grace and not because of any significant or righteous things we have done. At the same time, Father, we surely want to honor you with our lives and show others the difference your gracious love makes in our lives, especially when we obey. Bless us, please, dear Father, to be more worthy of the description of Noah. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
