خُدا انسانی جسم میں جیسا کہ یوحنا 1 نے باب 14 آیت میں یسُوع کو بیان کیا ہے، خُدا کا حتمی پیغام۔ (عبرانیوں 1 باب 1 تا 3 آیت)۔ یقنی طور پر یہ ایک راز ہے جس کو ہم پوری طرح ناپ نہیں سکتے۔ یہ ہماری محدور حقیقیت اور انسانی تجربہ سے کہیں دُور ہے۔ یسُوع پر اعتراض کرنے والے اُس پر آسانی سے اعتراض کرنا چاہتے تھے کہ جیسے وہ مسِیح نہیں ہو سکتا کیونکہ اُن کا خیال تھا کہ وہ جانتے تھے کہ وہ کہاں کا ہے۔ وہ غلط تھے۔ اُن کا خیال تھا کہ وہ ناصرت سے ہے نہ کہ بیت الحم سے۔ ہم بہتر طور پر جانتے ہیں۔ حتیٰ کہ وہ اور بھی غلط تھے، کیونکہ یسُوع حتمی طور پر بیت الحم سے نہیں تھا؛ "وہ آسمان سے تھا"۔ جیسا کہ ہم یہ سمجھنے کی تلاش کرتے ہیں کہ یسُوع ہمارا بچانے والا، مسِیح خُداوند ہے وہ ہمارے تصور کو محدود اور ہماری حیرانی کا مزید بڑھاتا ہے۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
God in human flesh is how John described Jesus as he began his gospel (John 1:14-18). Jesus was God's ultimate message and revelation of God himself in human form (Hebrews 1:1-3). Jesus' incarnation is a mystery that neither the crowds in his day nor we in our day can fully fathom. This truth is beyond our human experience and limited knowledge of eternal reality. So, we shouldn't be surprised when Jesus' critics quickly characterized him as someone who could not be Messiah because they thought they knew where he was from — Nazareth when Jesus was born in Bethlehem. He existed as God and with God before time as we know it began. The crowds were wrong about his origin and so many other things. Dear friend in Christ, Jesus exhausts our imagination and overflows our cup of wonder as we seek to understand all he is as our Savior, Christ the Lord! So, come and let's adore and praise him for all he is, even what we cannot yet understand of his glory!
میری دعا
اے خُداوند، یسُوع کے جلال کے لیے میری محدود سوچ کےلیے مجھے معاف کردے۔ میرے دل کی صلاحیت کو فعال بنا کہ وہ حیرت، مسٗرت، فضل، فرحت بخشی، جلال، اور اُس کی قوت میں خوف، اُس کا فضل، اُس کا کفارہ، اُس کی فتح، اور اُس کی محبت کی تلاش کرے۔ اے باپ، اور مسِیح، تمام تر عزت اور جلال جو میرا دل اکٹھا کر سکتا اور میری زبان اُس کا دعویٰ کر سکتی ہے وہ تیرے ہی ہیں۔ یسُوع کے نام میں میَں اپنی حمد پیش کرتا ہوں۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
O Lord, forgive me for my limited vision of Jesus' glory. Please enable my heart's ability to find wonder, joy, grace, exhilaration, glory, and awe in my Savior's power, grace, sacrifice, victory, and love. To you, Father, and to the Christ, be all the glory and honor that my heart can muster and my voice can proclaim. Through the intercession of the Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus' name, I offer you my praise! Amen.
