خُدا بہت پاک، بہت قادر، بہت بے مثال، اور اِس کے باوجود وہ ہمیں کہتا ہے کہ ہم اُسے "ابّا باپ" کہہ سکتے ہیں۔ "ابّا پیار، شناسائی، انحصار، اور محبت کی اصطلاح تھی جو کہ یہودی اپنے باپ کو کہہ کے بُلاتے تھے۔ خُدا نے، پاک رُوح کے شاندار تحفہ کے وسیلہ سے، ہمیں حتمی دستیابی، محبت، تحفظ، اور عظیم نگہداشت کا تحفہ عطا کیا ہے! پیارے ابّا باپ! میرے خُدا، میرے خُداوند، آسمانی فوج کے قادر حکمران اور کائنات کے بنانے والا بھی میرا ابّا ہے۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
God is so holy, so mighty, so awesome, and yet he bids us to call him "Abba Father." Abba is a term of endearment, familiarity, dependency, and love used by Jewish toddlers to address their fathers. Many Jewish families continue to call the father in the family "abba," no matter their age or their abba's age! Through the incredible gift of his Holy Spirit to us, God has given us this ultimate gift of availability, love, companionship, protection, and mighty care. The eternal and almighty God invites us to approach him as our "Abba Father." Our God, our Lord, the Sovereign ruler of heaven's armies and Creator of the universe, is also our Abba!

ابّا باپ، بہت قریب رہنے، پھر بھی اتنا قادر، اتنا قابلِ رساں، اور انتا پاک، انتا مہربان، اور بھروسہ کرنے کےلیے قابل ہونے کےلیے تیرا شُکرہو۔ پیارے ابّا، تیرا شُکرہو، کہ تُو اپنے پیارے فرزند کے طورپر مجھے پاس آنے کی اجازت فراہم کرتا ہے۔ یسُوع کے نام اور رُوح القُدُس کی طاقت کے وسیلہ سے میَں مانگتا ہوں۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
Abba Father, thank you for being so close yet so mighty, so accessible yet so holy, so tender yet so trustworthy. Thank you, dear Abba, for allowing me to come to you as your loving child. I pray in Jesus' name and through the Holy Spirit's powerful intercession. Amen.
