آج کی آیت پر خیالات
میں نہیں جانتا کہ آٌپ اس وقت کہاں ہیں، لیکن جہاں پر میں ہوں وہاں بہت شدید گرمی ہے۔کچھ بھی جو ٹھنڈا اور تازگی بخش سنائی دیتا ہے اچھا لگتا ہے۔ اگر کبھی بھی آپ نے کٹائی کی ہے، آپ کے کپڑوں سے پودوں کی خوشبو آتی ہو، اور آپ کی قمیض پسینے سے بھر جائے، آپ جانتے ہیں کہ آپ کے چپچپے جسم اور گلے سے گزرتا ہوا پانی کتنا ٹھنڈا اور تازگی بخش لگتا ہے ۔ لیکن خُدا فرماتا ہے کہ جب ہم اُس کے اور ایک دُوسرے کے لیے پُر اعتماد پیغمبر ہیں، تو یہ تھکا دینے والے دن میں ٹھنڈے پانی سے کہیں بڑھ کر ہے۔ تو آپ آخر خُداوند کے پیغام کے ساتھ کیا کر رہےہیں؟ اُس کا کلام پھیلایا؟ اُس کے فضل کے بارے میں بتایا؟ اُس کی شفقت کو عیاں کیا؟ آئیں ہم کلام کے ذریعے ایک دوسرے کو برکت بخش کر اپنے خُداوند کو تازگی فراہم کریں۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
I'm not sure where you are located, but it's been blistering hot where I am. Anything cool and refreshing sounds incredibly wonderful. If you've ever worked a harvest and gotten the dust, plant fragments, and sweat up under your shirt, you know how refreshing a cool glass of water is to your parched throat and a cold shower is for your sticky body. But God says that when we are trustworthy messengers for each other and for him, it is even better refreshment than a cool drink on a hot, tiring day. So how have you been doing with the Master's message lately? How committed are you to sharing his love, telling others of his grace, or demonstrating his kindness? Let's get busy being the coolness of snow at harvest time for our Lord and Master by blessing others with the good news of his love and grace!

اے آسمانی باپ، جب میں تیرے پیغام کا اعتبار نہ کروں یا میں تجھے اور تیرے کلام کی تابعداری میں شرم محسوس کروں تومجھے معاف فرما دے۔ مجھے فہم عطا فرما تاکہ میں تیری رحمت، محبت، فضل، اور جلال کو دوسروں کے آگے جو میرے چوگرد ہیں ظاہر اور بیان کروں۔ ایسا ہو کہ میرے الفاظ اور میرے اعمال تجھے تازگی اور جلال عطا فرمائیں۔ یسُوع کے نام میں مانگتا ہوں۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
Forgive me, heavenly Father, when I am untrustworthy with your message, ashamed of showing my allegiance to you, or not excited about sharing your good news. Give me the courage and wisdom to demonstrate and proclaim your love, mercy, grace, and character to those around me. May my words and actions today bring you refreshment and glory! In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
