"کھڑے ہو جائیں پُکاریں اگر آپ میرے یسُوع سے پیارے کرتے ہیں۔۔۔۔۔۔ یہ وہ گیت ہے جو ہمارے بچےگانا بہت پسند کرتے ہیں! لیکن خُداوند کی عبادت کے وقت ہمارے جوانوں کے جوش مسرت کو کیا ہو گیا؟ خُدا نہیں چاہتا کہ ہم اِس کو کھو دیں۔ بائبل میں سے پڑھیں اور اُن تمام جسمانی اعمال کو نمایاں کریں جو توبہ اور ہمارے بے مثال اور ابدی خُدا کی حمد کے لیے استعمال ہوئے ہیں۔ ایسی دُنیا باقاعدگی سے خُدا کا نام بے فائدہ لیتی ہے، کیا یہ وہ وقت نہیں جب ہم کھڑے ہو جائیں اور اُس کی تمجید کریں—نہ صرف گرجا گھر میں(اپنی ذاتی عبادت میں بھی) اور اپنے روزانہ دین دارانہ لگاؤ میں بھی( ہماری ذاتی عبادت)، بلکہ ہماری روز مرّہ زندگی میں( ہماری عوامی عبادت میں)؟!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
"Stand up and shout it if you love my Jesus!" That's a song our children love to sing! But what happens to our youthful exuberance and joy at worshiping the Lord? God doesn't want us to lose it. Read through the Bible and highlight all the physical acts used to reverence and praise our awesome and eternal God — standing, bowing, kneeling, prostrating, lifting hands, clapping, shouting... and on and on we could go. In a world that regularly uses God's name in vain, isn't it time we stood up as believers and praised him for all he has done, is doing, and will do in the future? Shouldn't we do this not only in church buildings (our private worship) but also in our daily devotional times (our personal worship) and in the way we live daily (our public worship)? Yes! Let's "Stand up and praise the Lord [our] God, who is from everlasting to everlasting."
میری دعا
آسمانی باپ، یہ میری سمجھ سے باہر ہے کہ ابدی اور قادرِ مطلق خُدا میری دُعائیں سُننے کا انتخاب کرتا ہے۔ لیکن میں جانتا ہوں کہ تُو اُن کو سُنتا اور اُن پر ردِ عمل دکھاتا ہے۔ تیرا شُکرہو! براہِ کرم میری عبادت میں میری تمجید کو قبول فرما، جو میں نجی طور پر دُوسرے مسحیوں میں کروں، میری روزانہ کی ذاتی عبادت یا میری عوامی عبادت میں جیسا کہ میں اپنے ساتھ کام کرنے والوں کے لیے مثال کے طورپر جیئوں قبول فرما۔ تُو واحد خُدا ہے اور تمام تر تمجید کے لائق ہے، براہِ کرم اُس حمد کو قبول فرما جو میں تُجھے اپنی زندگی کے ساتھ ساتھ اپنی الفاظ میں پیش کرنے کی تلاش میں رہتا ہوں۔ یسُوع کے نام میں مانگتا ہوں۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
You alone are God and are worthy of all of my praise. Please receive my praise in my worship, whether I offer it in private with other Christians, in my daily personal worship times, or in my public worship, as I live as an example before my family, friends, and coworkers. Please receive the praise I seek to offer you in my life and through my words. In the name of Jesus, I praise you. Amen.
