آج کی آیت پر خیالات
جب یہ الفاظ پہلے کہے گئے، یہ خُدا کی طرف سے اسرائیل کو اُس کی جگہ، عہد، زندگی اور مقدس مقام میں بحالی کےلیے ادا کیے گئے۔ ہمارے پُرانے نقطہ نظر سے ، یہ دُعا ہماری بھی ہونی چاہیئے۔ بحالی کا مطلب یسُوع کا آنا بھی ہو سکتا ہے جو ہمیں گھر لے جائے گا۔ اُس دن، ہمارے اور خُدا کے درمیان جو بھی مشکل ہو گی ہٹ جائے گی۔ ہماری فنا پذیری فتح میں تبدیل ہو جائے گی۔ ہم خُدا کو رُو برُو دیکھیں گے اور اُس کے کامل فرزند ہونے کےناطے ٹھنڈے وقت میں اُس کے ساتھ سیر کیا کریں گے۔ وہ دن جلد آئے۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
When these words were first spoken, the prophet and his people were focused on God's restoration of Israel back to their place in Judea, their prominence in the world of nations, their beauty in daily life, and their worship and security in the Temple of the Lord. From our vantage point, this prayer can be our prayer as well. Restoration can mean Christ's return, which brings us home to God. On that day, every barrier standing between God and us will fall. Our mortality will be swallowed up in victory. We will see God face to face and walk with him in the cool of the day as his perfect children. Maranatha — O Lord come (1 Corinthians 16:22-24 NRSV). And may that day come soon!
میری دعا
پاک اور شاندار خُدا، میں جانتا ہوں کہ میری حدود اور تیری کاملیت کے درمیان بہت بڑی خلیج حائل ہے۔ چنانچہ پیارے خُدا،میرا ایمان ہے کہ تُو نے اپنے پیار کے ساتھ اُس خلیج کو پھیلا دیا ہے۔ جبکہ میں اُس کاملیت کے انتظار میں ہوں جو پوری طرح روشنی پھیلائے، مجھے براہِ کرم بدی کے ساتھ معرکہ آرائی میں قوت بخش اور مجھے تمام رُوحانی حملے اور نقصان سے بچا۔ اُس دن تک جب میں تجھے رُو برُو نہ دیکھ لُوں تُو نے مجھے بچانے کےلیے جو کچھ کیا ہے اُس کےلیے میری انسانی محدود حمد کو قبول فرما۔ یسُوع کے نام میں مانگتا ہوں۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
Holy and awesome God, I know a huge gulf stands between your perfection and my limitations. Yet, dear Father, I believe you have spanned that gulf with your grace. While I wait for that perfection to dawn in all its fullness, please empower me for my battles with the evil one and deliver me from all spiritual harm and attack. Until the day I see you face to face, please accept my all-too-limited and human praise for all you have done to save me. I rejoice in Jesus' name. Amen.
