دنیا کے تمام لوگ اور مختلف اقوام سے لوگ آج کی آیت کا مطالعہ کرتے ہیں۔ جبکہ ہمارے قومی ماخز اور اخلاقی ورثہ بالکل الگ ہے، ہم ایک بادشاہی کے ارکان ہیں۔ ہماری بیعت ریس، ثقافت، زبان، اور قوم سے بالاتر ہیں۔ کیوں؟ کیونکہ ہمیں اُس بادشاہی نے محفوظ رکھا ہے جو کہ ریس، ثقافت، زبان، اور قوم سے کہیں بڑھ کر ہے۔ وہ بادشاہی ہمیں تقیسم کرتی ہے اور ہمیں ایک دُوسرے کےلیے مشکوک کرتے ہیں، جو کہ جنگ اور نفرت کی طرف لے کے جاتا ہے۔ ہمیں اور زیادہ شاندار دی گئی ہے! ہمیں زیادہ شاندار اور رنگ بھری دوڑ میں شامل کیا گیا ہے۔ ہم خُدا کے فرزند ہیں اور اُس کے بیٹے جس سے وہ پیار کرتا ہے کی بادشاہی کا حصہ ہیں۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
People from all over the world and many different nationalities read Verse of the Day. While our national origins and ethnic heritages differ, we are members of one Kingdom. Our allegiance transcends ethnicity, race, culture, language, and nation. Why? Because we've been rescued from the dominion that holds sway over race, culture, language, and country. That dominion, the dominion of darkness, divides us and makes us suspicious of each other, leading to hatred and warfare. We've been given a more glorious and lasting Kingdom! We've been made into a more glorious and colorful people — one not based on race, ethnicity, language, social status, nation, or skin color! We are God's children and part of the Kingdom of the Son he loves.
میری دعا
اے باپ، ہمیں استعمال کر تاکہ ہم اُن رکاوٹوں کو توڑ دیں جو کہ ہمیں عارضی باہری چیزوں کی وجہ سے لوگوں سے الگ کرتی ہیں۔ ہمیں اُمید، کردار اور محبت کی بادشاہی کا حصہ بنا۔میرے دل سے تمام تر تاریکی کو دور کر دے۔ ہمارے ذریعے اپنے فضل کی روشنی کو چمکا دنیا پر چمکا تاکہ لوگ ہمیں قوموں کو شفا دیتا ہوا دیکھیں۔ یسُوع مسیِح کے نام میں، جو کہ تمام لوگوں کا واحد بچانے والا ہے۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
Use us, O Father, to break down the barriers that separate peoples based on temporary externals. Make us into a Kingdom of character, hope, and love. Cast all darkness out of our hearts. Shine the light of your grace through us to our world so people can see the healing for what divides us. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the only Savior of all peoples. Amen.
