خُدا نے راستباز اور بد کو الگ الگ چھانٹنے کا وعدہ کیا ہے۔ یسُوع اپنی امثال میں وہی کچھ دُہراتا ہے۔ خُدا کے لوگوں کےلیے، تاہم، یہ خوف کی انتباہ نہیں ہے۔ بلکہ، یہ عہد کےالفاظ ہیں۔ وہ جو عاقل طور پر احترام میں ہیں اور خُدا کےلیے جیتے ہیں وہ تمام دیکھنے کےلیے شاندار طور پر چمکیں گے۔ وہ جنہوں نے دُوسروں کی راستبازی کےلیے راہنمائی کی ہے وہ باپ کی آنکھوں میں ستاروں کی طرح چمکیں گے۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
God promised a sifting between the righteous and the unrighteous both in this life and before the life to come. Jesus repeated the same assurance of such a sifting in his parables. For God's people, however, promises to sift — to judge between righteous and unrighteous — are not fearful warnings. Instead, they are words of promise. Those who have wisely honored and lived for God and led others to him will shine brilliantly for all to see, and we will twinkle like stars in their Father's eyes... forever!
میری دعا
پیار کرنے والے خُدا، اپنی شفقت اور فضل سے مجھے بچانےکےلیے تیرا شُکر ہو۔ ٹھیک اُس وقت اے باپ، میں یہ دیکھ کر مایوس ہو جاتا ہوں کہ بد خوشحال ہے جبکہ تیرے وفادار خادم اپنے کردار کےلیے بدنامی اور تضحیک برداشت کرتے ہیں۔ میں شُکرگزار ہوں کہ تُو شاندار فضل کے تحت ہماری عدالت کرے گا۔ ٹھیک اُس وقت میں شُکرگزار ہوں کہ تُو اُن کےلیے عدل بخشے گا جو تُجھ سے پیار کرتے ہیں اور جو اپنے ایمان کی وجہ سے تنگی، مشکل، خطرے اور مذاق کا شکار بنتے ہیں۔ براہِ کرم اُن کے ساتھ ہو، وہ جہاں بھی ہیں، اور اُن کو اُس دن تک جو آنے والا ہے صبر کےلیے قوت بخش۔ یسُوع کے نام میں مانگتا ہوں۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
Loving God, thank you for saving me by your grace and kindness. Father, sometimes I get frustrated when I see the wicked prosper while your loyal servants are maligned and ridiculed for their character. I'm thankful that you will judge us based on your incredible grace and your standard of righteousness! I'm also grateful you will bring justice for those who love you and who are enduring hardship, danger, and ridicule because of their faith. Please be with them, wherever they may be, and give them strength to persevere until that day of sifting arrives with glory. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
