یہ واضح طور پر ایک پہرہ ہے جو کہ پرانے کمجوس نے نہیں دیکھا! خُدا نے غریب کے لیے ہمیشہ ایک فراہمی رکھ چھوڑی ہے۔ سال کے اِس وقت جب پُوری دُنیا کے لوگ اُن لوگوں کی طرف دیکھ رہے ہیں جو بد قسمت ہیں، آئیں اپنی تاریخی کتابوں کو کھولیں اور اپنے جدول کو دیکھیں اور ہفتہ وار خاص اِس فیاضی کے ساتھ مئی اور اگست والے مہنیوں کو بھی شامل کریں اور اُس دل کے ساتھ عہد کریں جو کہ ہر وقت فیاض ہے۔ آئیں ایک سال کے لیے اُن کے لیے فیاضی کو نہ جانے دیں جو کہ کم قسمت والے ہیں۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Apparently, this is a passage Scrooge hadn't seen! Unfortunately, I fear this is also a passage many of the Father's children haven't taken very seriously. God set aside ways for his people to help the poor, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow. So, at this time of the year when many of us are more aware that we need to help those less fortunate, let's also open our date books, diaries, and schedulers, then find a date next year to dedicate ourselves to generosity in a special way. Let's also ask the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with appreciation for God's generous gifts to us and commit to a life of generosity all year long. God wants generosity to be our lifestyle — our "Christyle" — always.

اے باپ اور خُدا،شفقت اور فضل کے تمام تر تحائف کےلیے میں تیرا شُکر ادا کرتا ہوں۔ براہِ کرم میرے دل کو دُوسروں کا خیال رکھنے کے لیے اُبھار جیسا کہ تُو کرتا ہے۔ براہِ کرم پُورا سال اُس فکر کی رُوح کو زندہ رکھنے میں میری مدد فرما نا کہ صرف بڑے دن کے دِنوں میں۔ یسُوع کے نام میں یہ مانگتا ہوں۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
I thank you for all your wonderful gifts of kindness and grace, dear Father and God. Please stir my heart to care for others as you do. Please help me keep that spirit of concern and generosity alive all year long and not just around Christmas time. In Jesus' name, I ask this. Amen.
