இந்த விசுவாசத்தின் அழகான அறிக்கை ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஆயிரக்கணக்கான பரிசுத்த விவாகத்தில் சொல்லப்படுகிறது . நம்பமுடியாத வகையில், இது முந்தய காலத்தில் மணமகன் அல்லது மணமகளின் உறுதிமொழியாக இல்லை . மாறாக , ரூத்தின் மாமியாரிடம் ரூத்தின் உறுதிமொழியாக இது இருந்தது - ரூத்தின் கணவராகிய நகோமியின் மகன் மரித்து போனதால் , சிலர் அவளை முன்னாள் மாமியார் என்று அழைப்பார்கள். ஆயினும் , ரூத் நகோமியை எந்த வகையிலும், எந்த நேரத்திலும் "முன்னாள்" என்று எண்ணவில்லை . தேவனானவர் விசுவாசமுள்ளவர்களை நேசிக்கிறார், நாம் மற்றவர்களுக்கு உண்மையாக இருக்கும்போது அவருடைய ஆசீர்வாதத்தையும் தயவையும் அவர்கள் மீது பொழிகிறார் . காகிதத்தை போல , கந்தை துணியை போல , குளிர்பானக் கேன்கள் போல மக்கள் எளிதில் தூக்கி எறியப்படும் காலகட்டத்தில் நாம் வாழ்கிறோம் , விசுவாசம் என்பது தேவன் நேசிக்கும் ஒரு குணாதிசயம் மாத்திரமல்ல , அவர் இயேசுவின் மூலமாக நமக்காக மாதிரியாக காண்பித்துள்ள ஒரு குணாதிசயமும் கூட என்பதை நாம் நினைவில் கொள்வோம். எனவே, நமது நண்பர்கள், குடும்பத்தினர் மற்றும் இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்றுபவர்களுக்கு நாம் விசுவாசமாக இருப்பது ஒரு முக்கியமான மற்றும் தேவனுக்கு கனத்தை கொண்டுவரும் ஒரு அர்ப்பணிப்பாகப் பார்ப்போம். வரலாற்றை மாற்றவும் இயேசுவை நமக்கு கொண்டுவரவும் தேவனானவர் ரூத்தின் விசுவாசத்தைப் பயன்படுத்தினார்!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
This beautiful statement of loyalty makes its way into thousands of weddings each year. Incredibly, this wasn't originally a pledge of a bride or groom. Instead, it was the pledge of Ruth to her mother-in-law — some would call her an ex-mother-in-law since Ruth's husband, Naomi's son, had died. Ruth, however, never treated Naomi as an "ex" of any kind. God loves loyalty and bestows his blessing and favor when we are faithful to others. In an era where people are thrown away as readily as paper plates, paper napkins, and soft drink cans, let's remember that loyalty is a quality that God not only loves but also a character trait that he defines for us in Jesus. So, let's see our loyalty to our friends, family, and other followers of Jesus as a crucial and God-honoring commitment. God used Ruth's loyalty to change history and bring us Jesus!

My Prayer...
Almighty and faithful God, thank you for your loyalty to your covenant promises to Israel. Thank you for not giving up on your people or abandoning your promises despite the fickleness and unfaithfulness of your children. Bless us today as we seek to be loyal and honorable people, your true children in a turbulent and treacherous world. May the light of faithfulness seen in us beckon others to find stability and hope in your grace and among your people. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
